  1. Patrick Awuah TED talk is a very powerful message and he makes very good arguments about leadership. The reason why Africa is in such bad shape is because of the leadership or lack of leadership over the years has been so bad and corrupt that Africa can never get moving in the right direction. The problem is not just the political leaders. It’s the teachers, the military leaders, the police, and the business owners. The reason why Africa is incapable of producing good, spirited leaders is because they have no ethics. People in Africa never learn ethics because it is not taught in school and they never learn it anywhere else. With the leaders that Africa currently have they have hope to get moving in the right direction and start a major renaissance. The TED talk is related to the lasting effects of European colonization because Africa never got to find its identity because the Europeans kept colonizing Africa so they were started with a handicap and were never able to find out what works and what doesn’t.
