  1. I felt the Tempest was a relatively decent story of betrayal and conflict. But I must say that it was not nearly as strong as it could have been. If you read The Count of Monte Cristo, the main character Edmund Dontes is deprived of every thing except his life. He struggles to regain every thing and seeks out revenge, powered only by sheer will. Prospero still had his magic and the company of loved ones. I feel that the lack of urgency wont grab audiences as well as it should.

  2. In response to Mr. Muth's text, I would say I have to agree. The Tempest was filled with interesting scenarios, like being stuck on a desert island and such. But I believe other stories will hook the reader more than The Tempest will.
